The collective was co-founded by Lo Cleary and Rob Herbert in 2024, alongside its first exhibition Rotten, Rotten, Rotten (Peckham Levels, Peckham, London). The exhibition brought disabled people together in a time where we are expected to be isolated and alone, to find community in the face of austerity.

Through open call applications, we showcased 27 artists with work ranging from sculpture, painting, performance, sound, textiles, poetry and film. The show was supported by National Disability Art Collection and Archive, and Disability Action Kollective through access to redisplaying archival zines and posters. The show was supported with the 'Rotten, Rotten, Rotten' publication introducing the exhibitors and their selected works which now serves as an archive and resource for our community.
